Pact withdraws from the Completing the Circle Consortium

By mutual agreement Pact has withdrawn from the agreement with Circles UK to deliver Circles of Support and Accountability in London.  Under the former arrangement, Pact was to deliver Circles in London in partnership with Circles Southeast, as part of the Completing the Circle consortium led by Circles UK.

Circles UK acknowledges the shared commitment and learning between all staff involved in Circles London, and acknowledges the hard work of Pact and Circles Southeast over recent months.

Circles UK has approached Circles Southeast to provide interim support until permanent arrangements are achieved, so that delivery of the new service will go ahead as planned.

The Big Lottery Fund has awarded a £2m grant to Circles UK for the delivery of 100 Circles across the capital by November 2019.  A further 88 Circles will be delivered by other consortium members in Lincolnshire, Merseyside, Lancashire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Northampton over the four-year period.
