Ministry of Justice Study (2014)

In 2013 the Ministry of Justice commissioned an evaluation of the latter years work of the first two Circles pilot Projects; Hampshire and Thames Valley Circles and The Lucy Faithfull Foundation Circles. The report, published on 13th March 2014 has some affirming and hopeful findings, while recognizing that its remit and scope was never to validate the ‘success’ or otherwise of Circles of Support and Accountability, in reducing sexual reoffending.

In a situation when anyone contacting us provides identifying information and raises our concerns that a child is at risk, or a criminal offence has been committed of which the police may be unaware, we will pass that information onto the appropriate agencies.
