Job Vacancy – Circles Coordinator London

Circle Coordinator: London (central/southern boroughs) - full time 35 hours.

12 month fixed term contract initially (renewable as part of 4 year funded project – 2 years still to run)

Salary £31,191 - £33,920

As a result of Big Lottery funding the opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified and/or experienced person to work for Circles South East. The new Circles London project began at the end of 2015 and is now fully operational. You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and developing this project delivering Circles of Support & Accountability (Circles) across London.

The successful candidate will be part of a team with shared responsibility for the establishment, development and sustainment of this new Circles project. The successful candidate will be expected to have a good knowledge and understanding of the Criminal Justice system and experience of working with high risk offenders. They require excellent case management skills, and the ability to support and manage volunteers working in this challenging area. This is an exciting opportunity to establish a proven and effective model across a new area, contributing to the development of new partnerships and opportunities. Although this post will cover southern and central boroughs of London the successful candidate will be part of a team of 4 coordinators and there will be times where travel across the whole of London will be required. The Coordinator role does involve some evening and weekend work. We are interested in increasing our profile within BME communities.

Circles South East is an award-winning, community-based charity which works in partnership with the Police and National Probation Service to form part of a multi-agency strategy to reduce sexual harm. We do this by recruiting, training and supervising volunteers to support and monitor high risk sexual offenders who express a desire to reintegrate safely into the community.
