Job Vacancy – Head of Trusts and Statutory Fundraising

Job Title: Head of Trusts and Statutory Fundraising
Hours: Full time/ permanent - 35 Hours
Salary: Circa £40k
Location: Reading

We are working in partnership with Circles UK, a charity which works to reduce sexual reoffending through its innovative community-based approach. The charity has reached an exciting phase in its development and now seeks to appoint a dynamic Head of Trusts and Statutory Fundraising to further develop core charitable and statutory revenue streams to support expansion. You will have at least 5 years’ experience in successful trust fundraising, securing substantial voluntary income and you will demonstrate:

  • Experience in producing compelling and persuasive funding proposals
  • Proven planning and budgeting experience
  • Success in securing significant income from new funding sources
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to influence and motivate supporters and colleagues at the most senior level
  • Ability to proactively develop networks in support of trust applications
  • Strong research skills, preferably honed in a fundraising environment
  • Experience and understanding of managing donor relations
  • Proven ability to distil complex information and convey ideas effectively to a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent team working skills and ability to work across a number of briefs concurrently
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines taking a project management approach.
